In an increasingly urban world, cities are now the fastest growing habitat on the planet. As such, they provide a methodological frame within which to explore questions regarding the relationship between people and nature. What exactly is that relationship? How can we achieve harmonious relations with urban nature in our troubled times? What can nature teach us about our own humanity, and how can we generate meaningful partnerships that enable life to flourish in our cities?
